Baked Ranch Bacon Chicken Dinner

Mmmmmmmmm....  Baked Ranch Bacon Chicken!

Recipe:
2 packages Heritage Farm Chicken Legs & Thighs
Olive Oil
Sprinkling of Tastefully Simple Seasoned Salt
Ranch Dressing (Homemade or Bottled)  I use Aldi Ranch when I run out of homemade
Heritage Farm Bacon (gmo free, nitrate free, msg free....best bacon ever!)

Sides:
10 or so small potatoes
Olive Oil
Tastefully Simple Seasoned Salt
Chili Powder
Garlic Salt

Frozen Green beans from your larder.

Let's cook Dinner:
Preheat oven to 375.  Lay the chicken legs out in a 9x13 pan.  Lightly brush the legs with olive oil and sprinkle with the seasoned salt.  Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.  We'll make the potatoes and the bacon while this cooks.  Then take some of the lovely Heritage Farm bacon and cut the pieces into small pieces and cook till crunchy.  {Remember to save those drippings to cook your eggs for breakfast tomorrow!}  After the 30 minutes drizzle the chicken legs with ranch dressing and sprinkle with the crispy bacon.  Put the chicken back in the oven for another 5 or so minutes.  Until the temperature inside reaches 165.

While your chicken is cooking boil the potatoes till they are fork tender.  Lightly coat a cookie sheet with olive oil.  Take the potatoes out and lay them on the pan.  Take your potato smasher and smash them suckers!  Drizzle some more olive oil on top.  Sprinkle with your seasoning mix.  Put in the oven on a lower shelf.

Put your frozen green beans in a pan with some water to get them warmed up and hot!! :)

There's your dinner!!!!

Heritage Farm meats make this dish.  The skin on those chicken legs is going to be heavenly.  Best yet, since it's Heritage Farm gmo free pasture raised chicken the skin is filled with nutrients that are good for your body!  Eat up and enjoy!  Add that to the moistness, and the deliciousness of the bacon and you're going to love this dish.  So easy, so wonderful.

ps.  Heritage Farm does deliver... don't forget!
